2008 Chestnut gelding. 15 HH, 1034 lb. Out of Smart Little Jermiah, a son of CHEX THAT OUT, Pepsi is a smart, quick and athletic little 5 years old gelding. Standing at 15 HH, he is just the right size. He was started as a 2 years old, took a few months off, then spent 2 months with Kevin West as a 3 years old and had a solid base established. He then went spending 3 months sorting cattle at the Vegreville feedlot. Last year as a 4, he was rode by our daughter Bianca at the Ponoka Broncs rodeo academy program and was started on barrels and poles. He was trail ridden last summer and then last fall he went back to a friend at the Hutterite colony for more mileage under saddle. He is nice, willing, and loves to have a job to do. He has tons of energy and will willingly go anywhere you'll ask him to go. Overall he is an above average kind of horse, you can use him on the farm and go penning with him, either or, he will get the job done. At this time, Pepsi would not be suitable for a beginner rider, he has some spunk and needs an experience rider. Later on in life, with more experience and once more mature, he should become a nice family horse.
